HOQUE20, a scheme conceptualized by
Shri Mahbubul Hoque, Chairman, ERDF, guides graduates from
economically weak background of the North Eastern Region. Under
it, a total of 20 undergraduate students in their first year and
with strong academic track, preferably from disadvantaged
backgrounds are guided by Shri. Hoque and his team to compete in
the All India Civil Services Examination.
Under this scheme, the entire course fee for the 20 selected
eligible Under Graduate students (Category -II) will be borne by
It can be mentioned here that already a large number of students
from various parts of the region belonging to financially poor
background are studying in different institutions established by
the ERDF Group. It is expected that with the success of “HOQUE
20”, the North East Region will overcome the deficiency of
underdevelopment, and all the necessary actions for growth with
be taken at the right time and with the right spirit.
The candidate must be from an
economically backward family. Relevant documents (BPL
card/recommendation/certification from local Gaon Panchayat/
appropriate authority) must be submitted.
The candidate must have good
academic track record.
